HORN, Wilma Jean, age 73, of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on Friday, October 31, 2014.

She was born on May 22, 1941 in Morgan County, Kentucky to Garnel and Elsie (Wilson) Ross.

Survivors include four daughters, Marcia Brumfield, of Columbus, Ohio, Sonya (Greg) Kinne of Harrison, Ohio, Gerri Dawn Secrest and Danielle (Doug) Jackson all of Hamilton, Ohio; eight grandchildren; two brothers, William (Shirley) Ross and Edison Ross; and four sisters, Christine Wheeler Kemplin, Mary Jane Lower, Brenda (Al) Maurer and Lucy Ross; and a number of other relatives and close friends.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, two sisters, Delores Ross and Karen Vest, and a brother, Wilbur Ross.

Jean retired from the Fairfield City School District. She was an active member of the Fairfield Wesleyan Church, enjoyed gospel and bluegrass music, and her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Family and friends may call Monday, November 3rd, from 5 to 8 pm, and funeral services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, November 4th at Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton, Ohio with Billy Bruns officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to the Fairfield Wesleyan Church, 4673 Anthony Wayne Ave., Fairfield, Ohio.
