Obituary

BALL, Zula J. age 90 of Hamilton went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at her residence. She was born on March 25, 1918 in Estill County, Kentucky to James and Eliza (McLaughlin) Stevenson. In October 10, 1937, in Estill County, she married Charles Wesley Ball and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1962.

They had three children, Janice (who died in infancy), Charlotte Sue (James) Lotz and Gloria Ann (Paul) Stubblefield; two grandchildren, Steven (Renee) Lotz, and Dawn (Jeff) Clark; four great grandchildren; a step son, Alvin (Eola) Ball; one step grandson, Charles H. (Jackie) Ball and two step great grandsons; seven step great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Ball was a member of the Non-denominational Followers of Christ, for forty-six years and lived her life in preparation for this day when she could meet her maker. She had been employed at Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton as a secretary and later for Mutual Adjustment Co., for thirty years.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Curtis Bauske and Scott Hanks officiating, followed by entombment in Rose Hill Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 10-11:00am Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the FRAXA Research Foundation, 45 Pleasant St., Newburyport, MA 01950. Please note your donation is "in memory of Zula Ball". FRAXA supports scientific research aimed at finding a treatment and ultimately a cure for Fragile X Syndrome.
