Scott A. Manley, age 66 of Fairfield, OH passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday August 30th, 2025. He was born in Toledo, OH on August 28th, 1959, the son of Marvin "Frank" and Cleo Manley (Karns). On November 19th, 1993 in Fairfield, OH, he married Kelly A. Manley (Keyes). Scott was a devoted husband, father, uncle, and friend. He was a member of Sacred Heart parish.
Survivors include his wife, Kelly; four children, Nick, Katie, Lauren, and Tyler Manley; two sisters, Carol Singer, Mary (Paul Barker) Manley; one brother, Bob (Ginger Barson) Manley, and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Cleo Manley; his brother, Ed Manley; his mother-in-law, Janet Keyes; his nephews, Daniel Manley, Darrin and Lawson Martin.
Scott grew up in Bowling Green, OH where he assisted his parents and siblings in the operation of their nursing home. Scott graduated from Bowling Green High School and continued his education at Owen's Technical College. Most of Scott's career was in commercial lighting sales where he cultivated numerous friendships. Scott was a passionate businessman; throughout the years he has achieved high ranks in leadership. He was a valued employee and colleague at many local businesses including Teron Lighting, LSI, Lightspec, and various others.
When Scott was away from work he most enjoyed spending time with his family. In his youth, Scott loved basketball and frisbee golf; he later toured with Sunkist performing frisbee tricks for local schools. In adulthood, Scott developed a passion for golf and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with friends. Scott was proud to be a part of the development of Joe Nuxhall's Miracle League Fields in Fairfield, OH which serves athletes of all ages with developmental and physical disabilities. As a result of his efforts, he was awarded with a key to the City of Fairfield. Scott was unexpectedly taken too soon from his loving family and will be deeply missed.
Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Monday 9/8/2025 in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. Hamilton, OH followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Monday in Sacred Heart Church 400 Nilles Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00pm Sunday 9/7/2025 in the funeral home. Register book at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com.
