Pottenger, Ann E., age 77 of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, April 29th, 2026. She was born in Hamilton, OH on January 3rd, 1949, the daughter of Fred and Antoinette (Ulm) Schneider, and was a graduate of Garfield High School. On August 2nd, 1969, she married Thomas Pottenger in St. Ann Church. She worked for Ohio Casualty before retiring after 42 years of service. She later worked for the Fairfield DMV and volunteered at Serve City.

She is survived by her brothers, Dave (Debbie) Schneider, Dean (Kim) Schneider, Doug (Diane) Schneider, and Dennis (Freddie) Schneider; her sister, Janice (Doug) Hingsbergen; nieces and nephews Dan, Dee, Chris, Jody, Michelle, Dustin, Stephen, Dana, Beth, Stephanie, Matt, Melissa, Robert, Tiffany, and Andrea; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; her parents Fred and Antionette Schneider; her sister, Mary Vaughn; and her brother-in-law, Steve Vaughn.

Prayers will be offered at 10:00am Friday May 8, 2026, in Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton OH 45015 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am In St. Ann Church 3000 Pleasant Ave. Hamilton, OH 45015. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8th from 9:00-10:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Online register book available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com.
